Day 1.    Budapest

Arrive to Budapest, transfer to the hotel, relax. Overnight in Budapest.


Day 2.    Budapest

Budapest city tour: Buda castle district, Fisherman’s bastion, Citadel, Heroes’ square, City Park with the Vajdahunyad castle, St. Stephen’s basilica, Andrássy street, Fashion street, Váci street – with the most outstanding historic monuments and sights, mentioning only the most popular places. Afternoon visit the fancy New York Cafe, the most beautiful cafe palace in Budapest. In the evening suggested to see the beautiful lighted city! Overnight in Budapest.


Day 3.    Bend of the Danube trip  – Szentendre, Visegrád, Esztergom

Full day excursion to the most beautiful historic cities of the valley of Danube. The beautiful environment, the art and the culture of Szentendre enchants the visitors. Visegrád is one of the oldest city and one of the former royal court of Hungary. Because of the favorit geographical position here was built a fortification during the roman empire as well. The ruin of it, can be seen till today, comes from 1250’s. Driving further on the right bank of Danube we reach Esztergom, other beautiful city of Danube bend. The city had been populated in the pre-historical times, later became the Center of the Hungarian catholic church and a flowery mercantile city. Today is one of the most popular tourist destination of the country. The Basilica of Esztergom is one of the largest church of Europe. Arrival to Budapest at late afternoon.


Day 4.   Ljubljana – Bled

After an early breakfast we drive to Slovenia. Our first stop will be in Ljubljana, capital of Slovenia. Lunch and a short walk in the downtown and then go further maybe to the most beautiful  alpine holiday destination in the country, to Bled. Bled is known for the glacial Lake Bled, which makes it a major tourist attraction. A small island in the middle of the lake is home to Assumption of Mary Pilgrimage Church; visitors frequently ring its bell for good luck. Before the church was built, there was a temple consecrated to Živa, the Slavic goddess of love and fertility. One can get to the island on a traditional flat-bottomed wooden boat. The island on Lake Bled has 99 steps. A local tradition at weddings is for the husband to carry his new bride up these steps, during which the bride must remain silent. Overnight in Bled.


Day 5.    Bled – Vintgar-gorge – Bohinj

Breakfast at the hotel and start an adventure to the Vintgar gorge. The Vintgar gorge is one of the most popular natural features in Slovenia. Along the narrow passage, where the Radovna river thrashes loudly against its rocky confines, there are paths, galleries and bridges constructed in the rock. The trail runs through the 1600 m long gorge. The Vintgar gorge ends at the delightful Šum waterfall, the highest river fall in Slovenia. One can find its way back pass St. Catherine's church and take a scenic walk across the meadows which offer marveouls views on Mt.Triglav and the valley. After lunch we climb up to the Bled castle from where you can enjoy the finest view of the lake with its island. Afternoon drive to Bohinj, one of the most beautiful places in the heart of the Julian Alps and in Triglav National Park. Overnight in Bohinj.


Day 6.    Bohinj – Villach – Klagenfurt am Wörthersee

Bohinj offer an ideal opportunities for rest and relaxation in all seasons. In winter the valley becomes a winter sports center, while during the summer the most beautiful pearl of the valley. The symbol of the city the lake Bohinj and the holy spirit church. The cable car ride is an excellent choice if you want to enjoy a breathtaking view from the Vogel. Lunch at the panorama restaurant 1500m above sea level. Afternoon we say goodbye to Slovenia and drive to Austria. On the way we stop at Villach and visit the nearby Wernberg castle. Overnight near the lovely Wörthersee, at Klagenfurt.


Day 7.    Klagenfurt – Graz – Vienna

Klagenfurt is the capital of Carinthia and the sixth largest city in Austria. This morning take a walk in The Minimundus, the "mini world” on lake Wörthersee and is a must to visit if you are in the city. After lunch drive to Graz and visit the most significant baroque palace complex. Eggenberg Palace is the most important and biggest palace in Styria and UNESCO world heritage since 2010. Graz Historic Old Town among UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites. After this historic tour continue our way to Vienna. Overnight in Vienna.


Day 8.     Vienna – Schönnbrunn

After breakfast take a walk in the downtown: St. Stephen’s cathedral, Museum quarter, Hofburg – the former imperial palace, the centre of the enormous empire of the Habsburgs. Afternoon visit the summer residence of Sissi queen, the Palace of Schönnbrunn. Dinner and overnight in Vienna.


Day 9.    Vienna – Parndorf – Hévíz

Breakfast at the hotel and then drive back to Hungary. On the way stop at Parndorf Outlet for a short shopping. Arrive to Hévíz in the afternoon. Free time at Hévíz.

After arrival visit the most famous bath in Europe, Hévíz – fountain of life! “If you are having a bath, do it with a calm and cheerful spirit,” says Hippocrates. So, experience the warm thermal lake and try every kind of treatment. Overnight in Hévíz.


Day 10.     Hévíz – Keszthely – lake Balaton / Badacsony 

After breakfast visit the nearby Festetics Palace in Keszthely. The Festetics family is one of the most significant ducal families in Hungary. The family, who was of Croatian origin, moved to Hungary in the 17th century. In 1739 Christopher Festetics (1696-1768) bought the Keszthely estate and its appurtenances, and chose it to be the centre of his estates. He had the palace built, brought a surgeon and craftsmen to the town, and set up a pharmacy and a hospital.

The lake Balaton is grandiose in every seasons and it is one of the most important touristic charm of Hungary. Around the lake are several thermal and curative baths, elegant hotels, restaurants, and we can taste the fine wines of this area. The Badacsony wine region was named after the Badacsony, which "witnesses" the reunion of man and nature through over two thousand years of wine culture. The vineyards on the side of the Badacsony, which dips into the Balaton like a peninsula, ripen their grape bunches. Visit a wine cellar at Badacsony. Overnight in Badacsony.


Day 11.     Badacsony – Tihany – Balatonfüred – Budapest 

After breakfast drive to Tihany peninsula, the symbol of the unique harmony of man, nature and history. Visit the old Benedictine monastery, the Tihany abbey. The Benedictine monastery at Tihany was established in 1055 by King Andrew I of Hungary (r. 1046–1060). It was dedicated to the Holy Virgin and to Saint Bishop Aignan of Orleans. King Andrew was buried in the church of the monastery in 1060. His tomb in the crypt of the church is only grave of a medieval King of Hungary which has been preserved until now. Afternoon take a short walk in Balatonfüred along the lakeshore. Take a deep breath from this crystal clear fresh air before arrive back to Budapest. Overnight in Budapest.


Day 12.     Budapest – Gödöllő

After breakfast drive to the nearby Gödöllő, visiting the largest baroque palace of Hungary, the  Grassalkovich Palace. Queen Elisabeth and her husband Franz Joseph relaxed here very frequently in the spring and autumn seasons. Unfortunately the storms of history didn’t spare the palace. During the second world war it was demaged. After the war it was used as stall for animals and as a military quarter and store. The furnitures and instalationes of the palace were demaged or transported.  The reconstruction started after 1990 and it is lasting till today. Nowadays museum and banquet-and conference centre can be found in the palace.  Lunch in a traditional Hungarian restaurant, and returning to Budapest. Afternoon free time. Overnight in Budapest.

Day 13.    Budapest

This morning visit one of the largest and most elegant bath of Budapest, the Szechenyi spa. Enjoy the warm thermal water and the traditional health and wellness services! The rest of the day free time, shopping. Overnight in Budapest.


Day 14.  Budapest

In the morning visit Margit Island and free time. Overnight in Budapest.


Day 15.     Budapest

After breakfast transfer to the airport. Depart according to schedule.
